Sunday 26th November
We will be open from 12.30 to 4.00pm for the Warriors Vic Inc Music Club's fourth Kew Band Open Mic. This will be the last Warriors get-together for 2023 due to Xmas being such a busy period. Two guest bands this month are the FAQs and The Committeemen at 1.00 and 2.30pm.
Each band will perform a half hour set. On either side there will be opportunities for instant bands to play made up of audience members to perform songs selected with the aid of a whiteboard.
PA, drum kit and amps provided. Bring your instrument, sticks and picks to play. Always wanted to sing or play in a band? Here is your chance. Brush up on a few simple numbers and we will try to belt them out. Bar open and pizzas available from the kitchen. Free entry. Audience are most welcome.
Under 18s OK with a parent and no obligation to perform. Last month was a hoot so don't miss this!
Saturday 2nd December
This will be the last Kew RSL Band Night for 2023 and we will have a little break in January so we hope to be back on the 3rd February 2024. So on Saturday 2nd December we will have a double header event with the fabulous Wild Card Band returning and kicking off at 7.00pm. Next up the fine Takin' Chances will play out the night from 9.00ish to 11.00pm. It's another free entry gig and all over 18s welcome unless you don't want to hear a big dose of live loud pop and rock and roll. If that's you stay home and watch Netlfix! The rest of us will be on the dance floor enjoying two great four piece cover bands at the magnificent Kew RSL venue.
Put on your dancing shoes, bring your friends and head on down for a fun night with fellow music lovers. Buy your drinks and pizza from the bar.
Doors open at 6.30pm and the first band kicks off at 7.00pm til 8.45pm with the second band 9.00ish to 11.00pm. No door charge and no bookings required. Open to all 18+ years of age and no BYO - thanks.
As this is a live pop and rock and roll event we guarantee loud noises to occur! Many thanks to everyone who has attended one or more Kew RSL music events this year supporting the re-opening.
